The first article I chose was called, “Create the perfect design portfolio: 30 pro tips.” I chose this article because it will help me design my portfolio.

The 3 points of interest I found from this article were: keep adding new work, give insights on the process it takes to get to the end result, and add a blog.

The insight I gained from reading this article was making sure my portfolio answers all questions. Making sure that when people view my portfolio, they leave having no questions and want to come back to view it again.

The second article I chose is called, “Blog Post Ideas: 100 Fool Proof Ideas For Your Next Blog.” I chose this article because I am very interested in blogging. I personally know that writing is one of my weak areas, so the tips and ideas this article gave are very useful and helpful.

The 3 points of interest I found from this article were: blog consistently for a long period of time, create content that is good and helpful, and know what you are going to write about prior to your writing. This article said It’s good to have at least 50 different ideas that you want to write about so then you know the material you are going to write on and can write once a week consistently.

The last article I chose is called, “How to Promote Yourself Without Looking Like a Jerk. I chose this article because I’ve always found it hard to promote myself. It’s not something that comes naturally for me and most of the time, I would rather not do it.

The 3 points of interest I found from this article were: Understanding the true value of self-promotion, using relevant stories to demonstrate you expertise, and express humility.

The insight I gained from this article was knowing you have to have a special balance when promoting yourself. If has to be done in a creative way. Personal branding can benefit you and your company by helping others understand where you excel, and ensuring that your talents are put to use in the best possible way.
